Position Description
Primarily responsible for all recruitment activities; including, but not limited to, sourcing, screening, qualifying and interviewing candidates. This position will be a brand ambassador for Dorner and ensures that candidates have a uniquely positive experience from first introduction all the way through to their on-boarding.
Responsible for all Onboarding activities which includes obtaining new hire paperwork, creating new hire packets, scheduling and conducting HR & Benefits Orientations, maintaining Dorner’s onboarding plan program and submitting to Hiring Manager, as well as scheduling HR 60 Day Check-In’s. Secondarily will help with general Human Resource activities, such as, but not limited to assisting with company-wide events, filing, annual safety training and other assistance as needed. Because of the nature of this role, it may be necessary to work outside of normal business hours.
Requirements
- Associates Degree or work equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management preferred
- 3-5 years of recruiting experience, both hourly and salary roles; previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
- Strong computer skills required (good knowledge of Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Proficiency with ATS and other related platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc.)
